Though Carl may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Harkey and Myrtle Harkey; and his siblings, Fred Gaines Harkey, Jr., Walter Harkey, Sr. and Elizabeth Harkey Biedrycki.
He is survived by: his daughter Carolyn Harkey Walser.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Norwood Cemetery (406 N Kendall St, Norwood, NC 28128).
