She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Edwards and Rachel Edwards; and her sister Shelia Miller. She is survived by: her husband Tim Goodman; her children, Adam Goodman (Jessica) and Jodi Goodman Piscitelli (Matt); and her grandchildren, Reese, Quincy, Joy and Micah. She is also survived by many loving family members, friends and Church family members.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care - Albemarle (1835 Badin Rd, Albemarle, NC 28001). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Mountain Creek Primitive Baptist Church (40232 Mountain Creek Rd, New London, NC 28127).
