She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Atkin and Barbara Atkin; her husband Larry Wayne Gaddy; and her sisters, Diane Whittenburg and Jennifer Holly.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Gaddy, Melissa Parsons (Jeffrey), Rachel Nix (William) and Tim Gaddy (Amanda); her grandchildren, Benjamin Parsons, Logan Lewis, Christian Nix, Samuel Parsons, Connor Curry, Jacob Gaddy and Henry Gaddy; and her sister Denise Douglas (Jeff). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 5th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care - Albemarle (1835 Badin Rd, Albemarle, NC 28001). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 5th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tillery Compassionate Care, 960 N. First Street, Albemarle, NC 28001.
