He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Dennis Poplin; his sons, Jeffrey Thomas Poplin (Susan Gerstenberg) of King, NC and Gregory Dale Poplin (Elizabeth) of Carthage, NC; his granddaughter Meredith Poplin Boyd (Justin) of Carthage, NC; and his great grandchildren, Wesley Poplin and Callie Boyd.
