He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Woodrow Bell Sr. and Grace Carswell Bell; and his grandchildren, Devin Bell and Hunter Broadway. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Touchton Bell; his children, David Earl Bell (Katherine) of Virginia Beach and Andrea Lee Bell of Albemarle; his siblings, Margaret Bell Freeman of Macon, Georgia and Martin Carswell Bell (Joelyn) of Waycross, Georgia; his grandchildren, Tripp Bell, Julia Broadway and Trever Caudle; and his great grandchildren, Lily Anthony and Devin Bell.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care - Albemarle (1835 Badin Rd, Albemarle, NC 28001). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at the Fairview Memorial Park (2001 E Main St, Albemarle, NC 28001-9106).
