She was predeceased by: her parents, William Capel and Carrie Mae Capel; her husband Richard Lumas Hinson, Jr.; and her daughter Janet H. Godwin. She is survived by: her children, Roger Dean Hinson (Debbie) of Albemarle and Sherri Hinson Blackmon of Albemarle, NC; and her grandchildren, Tonya Godwin, Brandon Godwin (Amanda), Brian Hinson (Nikki), Lauren Huneycutt (Nick), Courtney Simpson (Derrick) and Heath Blackmon (Brittany). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
