She was predeceased by: her mother Lola Gaines Coley Melton; her husband Jennings Bryon Davis (Bill); her sister Marian Coley Laust; and her daughters, Pamela Davis Blalock and Kathy Davis Brown.
She is survived by: her daughter Lynn Davis McCormack of New London; and her sister Myra Melton Simpson of Jacksonville, FL. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.
