He was predeceased by: his parents, Jason Eugene Efird and Jewell Little Efird. He is survived by: his wife Gail Poplin Efird; his daughter Kelly Efird Simmons of Albemarle, NC; his grandchildren, Ian Simmons, Elliot Simmons and Grace Richards; his sister Lisa Efird Hartsell (Mark) of Stanfield, NC; and his sibling's children, Lauren Hartsell Crump (Justin), Anna Flores Gibson (Cade), Jason Whitley (Kandace) and Bill Poplin.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tillery Compassionate Care or Pine Grove Methodist Church Men's Group.
