It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Lane Winfree (Albemarle, North Carolina), who passed away on February 12, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Winfree and Alta Rae Winfree; and his brother Donald Winfree. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Ridenhour Winfree; his daughters, Hayley Winfree Franklin (Michael) of Richfield and Emily Winfree Smith (Jarrett) of Norwood; his grandchildren, Kasey (Andria), Tayler, Samuel, Lane, Grayson and Jolie; and his siblings, Bob (Vickie), Michael (June), Glenda Wages (Joe) and Barbara Floyd.
