He was predeceased by : his parents, Kemp Lee Plowman and Martha Catherine Furr Plowman; and his wife Janet Carmeleta Mauldin Plowman. He is survived by : his children, Debbie Whitley (Arthur) of Albemarle, NC, Kathy Plowman Barbee (Jack) of Albemarle, NC, Kevin Plowman (Kennitha) of Mt. Pleasant, NC and Larry Plowman of Sneads Ferry, NC; and his close friend Hazel Taylor. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
