We bid farewell to James Martin Talbert of Albemarle, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 29, 2025 at the age of 94. James Martin touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Talbert and Ethel Hatley Talbert; his wife Carolyn Trull Talbert; and his siblings, Delores Harris, Juanita Hatley, Rovetta Bullock and Jim Talbert.
He is survived by: his son James Martin Talbert, Jr. (Donna) of Albemarle; and his grandchildren, Sean Talbert (Hayley) of Kimbolton and England.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care - Albemarle (1835 Badin Rd, Albemarle, NC 28001). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mission Church (12444 Mission Church Rd, Locust, NC 28097).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mission Church or Tillery Compassionate Care.
