She is survived by: her sons, Doug Carter (Darlene) of New London and Steven Carter (Teresa) of Albemarle; her grandchildren, Amber Burleson (Bryan), Trisha Kimrey (Mark), Justin Carter (Breanna), Timothy Carter (Kayce) and Kandace Carter; her great grandchildren, Carley Burleson, Lexie Burleson, Diesel Burleson, Landon Kimrey, Bentley Kimrey, Wesley Carter, Emmerlyn Carter and Miley Carter; and her daughter Darlene Burleson.
