He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Barbee and Lizzie Barbee; and his sisters, Ramelle Hinson, Betty Whitley and Tink Bagley.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Mullis Barbee; his son Chad Barbee (Jeannie); his grandchildren, Brandon Barbee (Lindsay), Ashlann Hurley (John) and Aleeah Finch (Alex); and his great grandchildren, John Frank Hurley IV, Shiloh Chad Hurley and Shepherd Buster Finch.
