He was predeceased by: his parents, Calem Combs and Elizabeth Mullins Combs; his sister Jackaline Combs Johnson; and his grandson Jeremy McAfee. He is survived by: his wife Mary Catherine "Kitty" Kenney Combs; and his children, James Allen Combs, Tonya Combs Correa and Michael Combs (Marsha). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
