She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Shelton; and her parents, Guy Rushing and Juanita Rushing. She is survived by: her brother Guy Foreman Rushing; her sister-in-law Pam Rushing; her niece Heather Rushing-Chaney (Shannon Chaney); her great-nephews, Lucas and Mason; her nephew Michael Rushing; and her friend Audrey Little.
