He is survived by: his children, Meredith McIntyre Curran (Matt) of Matthews and John Robert "Rob" McIntyre (Catherine) of Albemarle; his siblings, Lynn McIntyre Burleson (Niven) of Albemarle and George McIntyre (Tina) of Raleigh; his grandchildren, Brody Curran, Gabe Curran, Isabel McIntyre, Robert McIntyre and Spence McIntyre; and his pet Otis. He is also survived by 2 nieces and 3 nephews many cherished cousins.
