She was predeceased by: her parents, Silas Cecil Barbee and Bertie Mae Morris Barbee; her husband Harry Leon "Sug" Bowers; her son Donnie William Bowers; and her siblings, Sadie Howell, Dorothy Coxton, Frances Almond, Earl Barbee, Clarence Barbee, Calvin Barbee, Fred Barbee and William Barbee.
She is survived by: her daughters, Saundra Underwood (Tony) and Rita Little (JD); her daughter-in-law Wanda Bowers; her grandchildren, Jill Underwood, Amy Carriker, Wesley Underwood, Brandy Wigdor and Laurel Owens; and her sister Helen Burleson. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Canton Baptist Church.
