With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kay Dennis of Albemarle, North Carolina, born in Mount Pleasant, North Carolina, who passed away on September 17, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Homer McLester and Ola Mae Swinson; her former life partner Billy Dennis; and her siblings, Gurley McLester, Donald McLester, Floyd McLester and Lois McLester Walters.

She is survived by : her children, Timothy Dennis (Darlene), Bonita Dennis Taylor and Mark Joseph Dennis; her grandchildren, Rebecca Almond (Wesley), Tamara Freeman (Toby) and Jesse Taylor; and her great grandchildren, Kaila Almond, Cooper Almond and Maggie Almond.
