He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Theodore Davis and Annie Maude Davis; and his siblings, Nancy Joyce Thompson, Sylvia Eudy and Kenneth Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Chandler Davis of Albemarle; and his daughter Ranee Hewett (Alan) of Fountain Inn. He is also survived by six grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
