With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lowell Irvin Brown of Albemarle, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 9, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Brown and Bonnie Lee Myrick Brown; and his brothers, Charles Brown and Bobby Brown. He is survived by: his wife Vickie Butler Brown; his children, L. J. Brown (Jenny) of Albemarle, Daniel Jason Brown (Anna) of Oakboro and April Brown Nickel of Albemarle; his grandchildren, Abigail, Justin Rogers, Nathaniel Brown, Elijah Brown, Bailey Brown, Elisabeth Brown and Avery Brown; and his brothers, Danny Brown of Robbins and Randy Brown of Robbins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care - Albemarle (1835 Badin Rd, Albemarle, NC 28001). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bethlehem Baptist Church (32283 Bethlehem Church Rd, Norwood, NC 28128).
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church, 32283 Bethlehem Church Rd, Norwood, NC 28128, to Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 703 Snuggs St., Albemarle, NC 28001 or to the Gideons International.
