He was predeceased by: his father Lynn Covington; his grandmother Wilma Owens; and his uncles, Johnny Owens and Robert Fred Owens Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Rhonda Covington; his girlfriend Tanika McDaniel; his sons, Kahlil and Kaeden; and his sisters, Latoya Owens, Lacoya McKay and Minnie Covington.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care - Albemarle (1835 Badin Rd, Albemarle, NC 28001). A burial will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at the Parkers Community Cemetery (3325 Blonnie Ross Rd, Polkton, NC 28135).
