He was predeceased by: his parents, W. A. Lowder and Rosa Lee Lowder. He is survived by: his wife Patty Stillwell Lowder; and his sons, Mark Lowder (Suzanne) of Albemarle and Dean Lowder (Sherry) of Isle. He is also survived by three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Central United Methodist Church (172 N 2nd St, Albemarle, NC 28001). A burial was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 at the Fairview Memorial Park (1425 E Main St, Albemarle, NC 28001).
