It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margie Blackman Hahn (Albemarle, North Carolina), who passed away on May 20, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Sidney Huth Blackman and Lalon Jernigan Blackman; her husband Billy James Hahn, Sr.; her sons, Billy James Hahn, Jr. (Jimmy) and Alvin Richard Hahn; and her grandson Joseph Ian Hahn.

She is survived by : her son Jeffrey Bryan Hahn of Albemarle; her grandchildren, Stephanie Merritt (John) of Matthews, Christina Kasak (Zac) of Fort Mill, SC, Kaile Cook (Dustin) of Huntersville and Drew Hahn of Denver; her great grandchildren, Harper Kasak, Gavin Kasak, Carter Cook, Decker Cook, Link Merritt and Elliott Merritt; and her sister Judy B. Warren of Benson.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the First Baptist Church (202 N 2nd St, Albemarle, NC 28001). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.

Flowers are welcome; however, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 202 N. Second St. Albemarle, NC 28001.
