She is survived by: her children, Ricky Howard Brown (Penny) of Albemarle and Janet Yvonne Brown Hatley of Albemarle; and her grandchildren, Michelle Hicks, Jacquelyn Barrier, Lauren Cooper and Keely Church. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
