She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Calton Cook and Pauline Burris Cook; and her husband Charles Curtis Lunsford, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Darrell Lunsford (Lisa) and Christine Renee Hatley (Jamie); her grandchildren, Tyler Hatley (Shelby), Hunter Lunsford (Hannah), Greyson Lunsford (Hannah), Lindsey Craig (Robbie) and McKenna Harwood (Corey); and her great grandchildren, Rylan, Charlie, Crew, Ola, Lakelynne, Charlotte and Cash.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Prospect Baptist Church (502 Prospect Church Rd, Albemarle, NC 28001). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
