We are sad to announce that on October 29, 2022, at the age of 68, Michael Preston Laton Sr. of Albemarle, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston Joshua "P. J." Laton, Jr. and Juanita Burleson Laton; and his stepmother Alene Laton. He is survived by: his wife Kristen; his children, Mitch Laton (Maryann), Brooke Senter (Neil) and Kellyn Luna (Luis); and his grandchildren, Austin of Albemarle, Dylan Laton of Albemarle, Mia of Albemarle, Ava Senter of Albemarle, Layla of Albemarle and Emilia Luna of Albemarle.

Memorials may be made to Stanly County Homes of Hope, Stanly Community College Endowment Scholarship Fund, or the Shriners' Children's Hospital.
