Though Peggy may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Peggy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. She was predeceased by : her parents, J. V. Kepley and Corinthia Lambert Kepley. She is survived by : her husband Glenn Morton; her daughter Glenda M. Corl; her granddaughters, Keisha Corl and Candace Clarke; her great grandchildren, Audrey Walker and Vance Walker; her sister Rachel Turner; and her sister-in-law Louvine Bowers.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle (522 N 2nd St, Albemarle, NC 28001). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM and from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
