He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry and Margaret Slack Lisenby of Norwood. He is survived by: his brothers, Terry Slack Lisenby (DeeDee) and Robert Ivan Lisenby (Rowena); his nephews, James Milas Lisenby and Boett Mabry Lisenby (Evelyn); his great-niece Emily Corp; his nephew William Ivan Lisenby (Alexis); and his great-niece Adaleine.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Norview Gardens (949 Pee Dee Ave, Norwood, NC 28128).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Central United Methodist Church, 172 N. Second Street, Albemarle, NC 28001.
