It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Gurley of Albemarle, North Carolina, who passed away on October 18, 2020, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert George and Martha Stancil Gurley. He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Nicole Gurley of Asheboro, Bobby Gurley of Canada and Hunter Gurley of Albemarle; his siblings, Christine Stancil, Eloise Hathcock (Shorty) of Mount Gilead and Ben Gurley of Mount Gilead; his siblings' children, Peggy Treece (Matthew) of Albemarle, Betty Locklear of Laurinburg, Justin Hathcock and Willie Stancil of Mount Gilead; and his great-nieces, Madison and Olivia Treece of Albemarle. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
