He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Allen Cook and Jolene Efird Cook. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Hill Cook; his daughter Kristen Cook Walden (Gavin) of Pinehurst; his siblings, David Cook of Albemarle and Jan Davis of Albemarle; and his mother-in-law Lovell Hill of Albemarle.
