He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Whitley and Ramelle Sides Whitley; and his wife Linda Misenheimer Whitley. He is survived by: his children, Shaun Whitley (Jill), Renee Creed (Allen), Kimberly Whitley (Jamie) and Jeff Whitley (Terry); his grandchildren, Trisha Galyan (Joseph), John Allen Creed, Cheyenne Whitley, Ashton Creed, Skylar Whitley, Keeli Chisom and Kaila Chisom; and his great grandchildren, Remmington Morton, Kinsleigh Morton, Stella Galyan, Waylon Galyan, Kelani Chisom and Scarlett Barber.
