With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Almond Page of Albemarle, North Carolina, who passed away on October 1, 2025 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruth Almond Page to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ollie Almond and Lucy Jane Varner Almond; her husband George Lee Page; her siblings, J. D. Almond, William Robert Almond, Paul Melvin Almond, Joel Ollie Almond, Roy Lee Ezra Almond and Grace Morris; and her great grandchildren, Andrew Poplin and Morgan Poplin.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Page, Lanny O. Page (Angela), Myra Poplin (Wayne) and Sandra Lambert (Kyle); and her grandchildren, Jeffrey, Lundie, Sarah, Amanda, Daniel, Leland, Kimberley, Meghan and Skylar.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hartsell Funeral Home & Crematory (522 N 2nd St, Albemarle, NC 28001). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Plyler Baptist Church (25958 Austin Rd, Albemarle, NC 28001).
Memorials may be made to Plyler Baptist Church and/or to Gentiva Hospice of Montgomery County.
