She was predeceased by: her parents, Vance James Poplin and Annie Lee Whitley Poplin; her husband Paul Wayne Morris; her son Jeffrey Wayne Morris; and her brother Michael Vance Poplin.
She is survived by: her daughter Lee Ann Caviness of Albemarle; and her grandchildren, Vance Morris, Suzanne Haywood, Adam Mabry, Mallory Morris, Coleman Caviness and Carly Caviness. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
