He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Bailey and Vernie Bailey. He is survived by: his wife Susan Bailey; his children, Mark Bailey (Alicia) of Albemarle and April Wallace (Matt) of New London; his grandchildren, Landon Bailey, Maci Bailey, Kathryn Underwood and Drew Underwood; and his siblings, Mike Bailey (Carla), Hilda Carpenter, Paulette Whitley, Linda Harkey (Larry), Deborah Pickler (Paul) and Wanda Furr (David).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the building fund at West Albemarle Baptist Church, 336 Church Street, Albemarle, NC 28001.
