She is survived by: her son Anthony Thomas Poplin (Rene); her grandsons, Alex Poplin (Boris) and Matthew Poplin (Shelby); and her great grandchild Everly Poplin.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at 24724 US-52, Albemarle, NC 28001.
