She is survived by: her husband Laciel Barnett Jr.; her siblings, David McMillan Sr., Mac Carson McMillan, Sallie Mae McMillan, Shady Mae Walker and Alma Nabinett; her children, Andra Barnett and Kenneth Barnett; her daughter-in-law Rhonda Barnett; her grandchildren, Charde Barnett, Kalia Barnett, Sara Barnett (David) and Melia Barnett-East (Jake); her great grandchildren, Kenneth Barnett, Mykah Barnett, Kyree Barnett, Amare Harris and Ada East; her sister Rosetta McMillan; and her sisters-in-law, Bertha McMillan, Permilla Carthon and Edna McMillan. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Saturday, April 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Kelsey Funeral Home (217 T E White Sr Dr, Albemarle, NC 28001). Visitation was held on Sunday, April 26th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church (500 Sherman St, Badin, NC 28009). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
