She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearl Harold West and Beatrice Edwards West; and her brothers, Burkett West, Carson West, Raymond West, Denton West and David West.
She is survived by: her children, Patti Brigman of Huntersville, NC, Angela Cavender of Oakboro, NC and Daniel Cavender (Lori) of Kannapolis, NC; her siblings, R. B. West (Sandra) of Tellico Plains, TN, Cindy Torbett (Don) of Madisonville, TN and Suzy Holliday of Tellico Plains, TN; and her granddaughter Amanda Brigman of Charlotte, NC. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in honor of Mrs. Verda Cavender to Main Street United Methodist Church, please designate for the Women in Christ Ministry.
