It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vivian Talbert of Albemarle, North Carolina, who passed away on April 22, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Beagle and Geneva Lee Edwards; her husband Terry Brown Talbert; her granddaughter Abigail Slater; and her siblings, Benji Edwards, Leon Edwards, Don Edwards and Jean Webb.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Taylor, Michael Beachum (Cindy) and Angie Slater (Chris); her grandchildren, Heather Poythress (Robby), Nicki Mauldin (David), Dudley Beachum (Kianna), Jennie Slater and Ian Slater; her great grandchildren, Skylar, Drake, Connor, Olive, MacKenzie and Raylin; and her sister Miriam Evans. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Edwards Funeral Home (120 College St, Norwood, NC 28128). A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
