It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freeman Murphy of Albertson, North Carolina, who passed away on October 27, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Murphy and Louise Murphy; and his siblings, Edgar Murphy, Thomas Murphy, Helen Matthews and Lynn Murphy.

He is survived by: his wife Elaine Grady Murphy; his daughter Elizabeth Murphy Barnett (Rob); his grandsons, Austin Barnett and Ryan Barnett; and his brother Kenneth Murphy.
