We are sad to announce that on July 14, 2025, at the age of 88, Katherine Pierce (Albertson, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Don L. Pierce; and her parents, Thurman Gainus and Tessie Williams Gainus Quinn of Kinston. She is survived by: her son Wade Harrison; her grandchildren, Karen Smith, Sandy Rouse and Chad Harper; her great grandchild Noah of Winterville; her grandson Waylon Harrison; her great grandchild Charlotte; her grandchildren, Raven Smith of Kinston, Billie Harper and Kathryn Bumgarner; her children, Reese, Courtland, Reagan, Nicole Harrison, Luke of Kinston, Laken of Kinston, Mason of Kinston and Hillary Langley of Kinston; her extended family, Donnie Pierce of Coldsprings, TX and Barett; her daughters, Jordan of Aurora, CO, Julianna, Kathryn and Anna France of Collierville, TN.; and also, Philip of Houston, TX and Cameron of Auston, TX.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Gainus Turner Family Cemetery (464 Seth Turner Rd, Albertson, NC 28508).
