She is survived by: her children, LeeRoy Higgins (Erika), Lindy Embler (Tony) and Shirley Burleson (Daniel); her grandchildren, Tyler Emory (Samara), Cody Emory (Dayanne), Hannah Higgins, Sammy Webb, CJ McFalls (Jessie), Jessika Clements (Jake), Tucker Hensley (Bianca), Amber Rogers (Delane) and T. J. Embler (Karissa); her great grandchildren, Leo Emory, Jehovanni Reynoso, Jaxson McFalls, Samuel, Abigail Clements, Benjamin Brodan, Greyson Rogers, Kelli, Maci and Lexi Embler; her brothers, Jimmy Chandler, Alfred Chandler (Billie) and Ricky Chandler (Anita); her sisters-in-law, Janice Chandler and Trish Chandler; her brother David Worley; and her daughters, Sheena Shook and Christy Gentry. She is also survived by 18 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Blue Ridge Funeral Service (7626 NC-213, Mars Hill, NC 28754). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service (7626 NC-213, Mars Hill, NC 28754).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service to assist the family with the final expenses.
