Franklin L. Tew Obituary
In loving memory of Franklin L. Tew of Alexander, North Carolina, who departed this world on July 20, 2025 at the age of 84. Franklin leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Franklin leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsworth Tew and Maggie Knowles Tew; his wife Irene; and his sister-in-law Ima Faye Fann Tew. He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Gail Hubbard of Granite Falls, NC and Gloria Hubbard of Hudson, NC. He is also survived by step-grandsons and step-granddaughter.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Friendship Baptist Church (4676 Horseshoe Bend Rd, Hudson, NC 28638).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be given to Friendship Baptist Church's Shoebox fund, 4676 Horseshoe Bend Rd., Hudson NC 28638.
