She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Roberts and Susie Roberts; her husband Roland Rice; her granddaughter Brandy Rice; and her sister Margaret Riddle.
She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Rice, Bonnie Black and Angela Young; and her niece Margie Rice Manos. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, seven great, great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ridgeview Missionary Baptist Church (22 Garden View Dr, Alexander, NC 28701). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
