Hoyt Pinkney Bynum Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 22, 2025, at the age of 95, Hoyt Pinkney Bynum (Alexis, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Blair Bynum and Viola Bynum; his wife Safarah (Faye); his son Henry Lee; and his siblings, Gloria Stroupe, Wanda Bynum D'Adario, Daphna Bynum, James Bynum and Jerry Bynum.
He is survived by: his children, S. Pinkney Bynum (Natalie), Pete Bynum (Gail) and Melinda Bynum Bumgarner (Emmitt); his brother Ronnie Bynum; and his grandchildren, Summer, Josh, Calah, Zack, Karly, Will, Emilee and Aubrey. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
