It is with sadness that the passing of Clyde Franklin Cowell of Alliance, North Carolina is shared. Clyde, born on February 16, 1932, passed away on September 10, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Torrence Cowell and Lillie Davenport Cowell; and his siblings, T. B. Cowell, Ellis Cowell and Lillie Mae Cowell Casey.
He is survived by: his wife Hazel Tyndall Cowell; his children, Dwayne Cowell (Tina) and Wanda Cowell Spruill (David); his granddaughters, Angie Spruill Hudson and Shelley Spruill Banks; his great grandchildren, Gaven, Tanner, Breanna, Tucker and Jace; and his sister Becky Cowell Dixon. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Daniels Sadler Funeral Home (52 Bryant St, Grantsboro, NC 28529).
