He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland M. Humphrey Sr. and Bonnie Willis Humphrey; his son Roland; and his grandson Zack Mayo. He is survived by: his wife Eva; his children, Jeffery Humphrey of Beaufort and Wendy Mayo Anderson (Shane); his grandsons, Nick and Sam Mayo of Oriental; Ernie Mayo of Bayboro.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Daniels-Sadler Funeral Home & Crematory (52 Bryant St, Alliance, NC 28509). A celebration of life was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Arapahoe Free Will Baptist Church at PO Box 117, Arapahoe NC 28510.
