He is survived by: his parents, James "Bill" Phillips and Faye Hardin Phillips of Andrews, NC.; his siblings, Harold Phillips (Rebecca) of Michigan and Amy Phillips of Raleigh, NC; his nieces and nephews, Sonja Crist (James), Zackary, Lance, Trinity (Tyler), Moses (Rachel) and Jude; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Elijah, Novena, Reid, Mercy, Seneca, Gabriel, Solanus, Charlotte and Madelyn; and his pet Buddy.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorials may be made to the Valley River Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Rolin Phillips, PO Box 1189, Andrews, NC 28901.
