He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcolm Andrew and Edith Dessie Westbrook Tallant; his wife Sue Skinner Tallant; and his siblings, Ann Brownlow and Jimmy Tallant.
He is survived by: his sons, Edward Harrison Tallant (Chalnicia Gibson) of Andrews and Mack Donald Tallant (April) of Robbinsville; his sister Helen Kiser (Gerald) of Gainesville, Georgia; his grandchildren, Ethne, Electa, Jackson, Zoe, Eli and Chase; and his nephew Danny Brownlow of Lavonia, Georgia. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
