We are sad to announce that on October 13, 2025, at the age of 78, Helen Ruth Phillips of Andrews, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Helen find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Sidney Sr. and Mary Catherine Wilson Amos; her husband Lane Phillips; and her brother David Amos. She is survived by: her daughter Karen Phillips Cox (Clifford) of Saluda; her grandchildren, Katie Raines (Justin) of Flat Rock and Kendall Cox of Saluda; her siblings, Darlene Scroggs (Giles) of Marble and Clyde Amos Jr. (Sharon) of Hendersonville; and her pet Pepper. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, sweet friends, neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Red Marble Baptist Church (1201 Red Marble Rd, Andrews, NC 28901). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
