We are sad to announce that, on April 17, 2026, at the age of 68, Jean Lovingood Hogsed of Andrews, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Jean Lovingood is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Jean Lovingood's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her father Clinton Lovingood; her grandparents, Wayne and Wilma Lovingood; and her brother Johnny Lovingood. She is survived by: her husband Malcolm Ray Hogsed of Andrews; her children, Breeze Cresmen of Andrews and Nathan Hogsed of Andrews; her granddaughter Mackenna Cresmen of Andrews; and her half-brother Stacy Lovingood of Sweetwater, Tennessee.. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
